Hated to depart the Phenomenal Springs Resort/Arenal Volcano but the 2nd leg of our 30th anniversary adventure awaits! We took off in a little 6-passenger Tiger Cessna nearby in LaFortuna to the Drake Bay landing strip on the Osa Peninsula/Pacific Coast (80 minute flight). We were then transported to the oceanside by van, then by boat we were whisked away - taking us to the beautiful Copa de Arbol Rainforest Eco-Resort! A Bungalow Treehouse will be our home for the next 5 days!
If you want total seclusion in a beautiful bungalow tree house in the middle of a very eco-friendly rainforest, then Copa de Arbol Rainforest Eco-Resort is the perfect place!
The hospitality here and the 3 resorts we stayed at is over the top and 2nd to none!
When we came ashore we were immediately welcomed with open arms, given a little tour of the property (only 16 bungalow tree houses here and no TVs) and handed a couple of detox fruity welcome drinks! 🍹🌴
We were shown our treehouse (luggage was already in our room), we cleaned up, and immediately went to the very tranquil 4-tiered Serenity pool. RELAXATION! Oh we also ordered a couple of crazy monkey drinks poolside!
Animals playing, screetching, and grunting all around us! Howler monkeys grunting, white faced monkeys playing and eating, Spider monkeys screetching, lizards lizarding, Parrots and Toucans flying above, and dolphins playfully jumping in the ocean
right in front of us.
After that went back to the room hung out for a while and cleaned up! Oh by the way "Star Fruit" (the resort's dog) came up and visited us and hung out in our room for a while. 🐾 (Don't tell Walker, Cane, and Angel) 
Finally, just before we left to eat a wonderful Costa Rican dinner I gave Tara her anniversary gift early. A nice pink pearl/rose gold necklace! After all a 30 year celebration is celebrated with Pearls!

Tomorrow we leave at 6:15am for Corcavado National Park!
