Last day in Paradise!

Our last full day in paradise!

We started off the morning after breakfast (at 8AM) with a nice horseback ride through the jungle and along the Pacific Oceanside.

It was definitely fun but halfway through the rainforest ride - the rains came down upon us.... 🌧

But we made the best of it! Our guide Marvin went out into the jungle and came back with a few giant banana tree leaves that we used to shelter the rain. He called them Costa Rican umbrellas! 🌿

We waited it out for about a 1/2 hour before we resumed our ride back to Copa de Arbol. Halfway through the ride our friend Star-Fruit came out of the woods out of nowhere along with his friend Roxy and followed us all the way back to the hotel! They were definitely glad to see us! 🐕 🐾 🐕 🐾

After we got back we had lunch, hung out at the pool for the afternoon with some of our new friends that we met at the hotel, and Tara took advantage of a full body massage!

After her massage Tara joined us for drinks at the Serenity pool as darkness fell. Lots of laughs with our new friends from United States and other parts of the world.

We then got cleaned up, had a late dinner, and said our goodbyes to all the staff who were outstanding these last 5 days! We will especially miss Alexis and Mario who were over the top fantastic during our stay at the incredible Copa de Arbol! We will also miss our loner rescue pals Star-Fruit & Roxy!

If you're looking for total seclusion - away from it all in a rainforest jungle bungalow tree house along with tremendous 5 star service, and great food - then Copa is the place!

Tomorrow will be our final entry as we depart fantastic Costa Rica and return home! As much as we hate leaving this place we are definitely looking forward to coming home to family, friends and our furbabies!
